VCD

VCD is an mpeg1 based format, with a constant bitrate of 1150kbit at a resolution of 352Ãƒâ€”240 (NTCS). VCDs are generally used for lower quality transfers (CAM/TS/TC/Screener(VHS)/TVrip(analogue) in order to make smaller file sizes, and fit as much on a single disc as possible. Both VCDs and SVCDs are timed in minutes, rather than MB, so when looking at an mpeg, it may appear larger than the disc capacity, and in reality u can fit 74min on a CDR74.

SVCD

SVCD is an mpeg2 based (same as DVD) which allows variable bit-rates of up to 2500kbits at a resolution of 480Ãƒâ€”480 (NTSC) which is then decompressed into a 4:3 aspect ratio when played back. Due to the variable bit-rate, the length you can fit on a single CDR is not fixed, but generally between 35-60 Mins are the most common. To get a better SVCD encode using variable bit-rates, it is important to use multiple "passes". this takes a lot longer, but the results are far clearer.

XVCD/XSVCD

These are basically VCD/SVCD that don't obey the "rules". They are both capable of much higher resolutions and bit-rates, but it all depends on the player to whether the disc can be played. X(S)VCD are total non-standards, and are usually for home-ripping by people who don't intend to release them.

DivX / XviD

DivX is a format designed for multimedia platforms. It uses two codecs, one low motion, one high motion. most older films were encoded in low motion only, and they have problems with high motion too. A method known as SBC (Smart Bit-rate Control) was developed which switches codecs at the encoding stage, making a much better print. The format is Ana orphic and the bit-rate/resolution are interchangeable. Due to the higher processing power required, and the different codecs for playback, its unlikely we'll see a DVD player capable of play DivX for quite a while, if at all. There have been players in development which are supposedly capable, but nothing has ever arisen. The majority of PROPER DivX rips (not Re-Encs) are taken from DVDs, and generally up to 2hours in good quality is possible per disc. Various codecs exist, most popular being the original Divx3.11a and the new XviD codecs.

CVD

CVD is a combination of VCD and SVCD formats, and is generally supported by a majority of DVD players. It supports MPEG2 bit-rates of SVCD, but uses a resolution of 352Ãƒâ€”480(ntsc) as the horizontal resolution is generally less important. Currently no groups release in CVD.

DVD-R

Is the recordable DVD solution that seems to be the most popular (out of DVD-RAM, DVD-R and DVD+R). it holds 4.7gb of data per side, and double sided discs are available, so discs can hold nearly 10gb in some circumstances. SVCD mpeg2 images must be converted before they can be burnt to DVD-R and played successfully. DVD>DVDR copies are possible, but sometimes extras/languages have to be removed to stick within the available 4.7gb.

MiniDVD

MiniDVD/cDVD is the same format as DVD but on a standard CDR/CDRW. Because of the high resolution/bit-rates, its only possible to fit about 18-21 mins of footage per disc, and the format is only compatible with a few players.

How Powerfull is your Password ????

Well many people fail in adding Strong password. I did a small research on this and found out a nice way of setting a strong passwords

Here is the trick:

I am Creating a Gmail ID see what i would set my password

Let me think that my user name is raghu, so with the same name i am going to set my password

While setting a Password see that how many min characters should be entered ( In gmail min 8 Character)

So now my user id is raghu and total characters in my name is 5.
Well see how i will set my password in different ways

raghuuhgar - I got the password strength as STRONG, i just added a reverse of that name
raghu1uhgar - This is also STRONG, i just added a number
raghu!uhgar - This one too is STRONG, i just added a symbol
raghu007! - This is the best trick, i always use this. I added my name with the jamesbond agent code and a symbol '!'. Thats it i have set the strongest password.

How real it works. People use Brute force method to hack passwords. They also try to put you favorite filmname etc and can trap your password. This trick is not so easy to hack. It is better to use your nick name or your Ex-Girl friend or Boy friend name with that above style than userid name coz people who have read this post can hack your ID :)

Don't try to use your family members name or your mobile number. Always remember that the password is STRONG

Hide your Drives ( C:\,D:\, or anything

Want to hide you drives???

Trick is

Go to start click run then type regedit
Registry Editor opens so go to the tree as follows (which is in the left side):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\
Software\
Microsoft\
Windows\
CurrentVersion\
Policies\
Explorer
Now in the right side create a DWORD (Right click select 'New' then DWORD) and name it as magicdrive
Now change its value to 3FFFFFF (Hexadecimal Value)
Now Restart your system and you will see that all the drives are gone.... so hows the trick

Well to recover back do this
Simple delete that DWORD and restart the system thats it

Open Notepad and type the following code

A Shocking news to the world when we heard there is no more World Trade Center. But frankly saying, Notepad (That is in all our windows based system) new which flight would hit World Trade Center. This is Funny but its true.

Do this:
The Flight Number that hit WTC was Q33N.

Now Open your Notepad and type Q33N
Change the Font size to 72 ( Format > Font..)
Now select the font as Wingdings. Click ok and see what has happened.

Add shortcut to remove your hardware devices like pen drive

To remove hardware devices like pen drive you need to do lot of things. Why not make a short cut so that by just clicking the shortcut file your pen drive will be removed safely.

Here is the trick:

Right Click on the Desktop > Select 'New' > Then Select 'Shortcut'
Now put the location field as RunDll32.exe,shell32.dll,Control_RunDll HotPlug.dll
Click 'Next' & name is as Remove Drive
If you think that the icon is not good you can change it by right clicking on the file then select 'Properties' then go to 'Shortcut' Tab there select 'Change Icon..' now select the icon that you want. And click 'Apply'.

Thats It

Usage:
Insert your pen drive & let it get detected. Now to remove that pen drive safely just click the shortcut file (named as Remove Drive) & you can see the pen drive will be removed.

Lock Folder using Notepad !

Do you think that some data are sensitive to be viewed by others ??? why not just lock it by using Notepad.

Heres the Trick:
(1) Lets consider a folder named as secret. Lets think that this folder is present in D:\ (D Drive). So the location of the folder is D:\secret
Now you want to lock that folder.

(2) Now open your Notepad and type the following content

ren secret secret.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

where secret is your folder name. Now save this file as Lock.bat or with any name of your choice with .bat as the extension.

(3) Now Open another new notepad & type the following

ren secret.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} secret

Save this file as unlock.bat or with any name of your choice with .bat as the extension.

Its Finished. Now see how to use this.

1. Add your sensitive data to the secret folder (ie D:\secret)
2. Then run the lock.bat

Now you can see that the folder secret has changed to a control panel icon & cannot be accessible.

To unlock just click the unlock.bat file.

I really wasted more than 10 hrs a stretch to find a free & unlimited site to store my data. I found so many sites like SkyDrive (From Microsoft),Eatlime then Rapidshare (Who will forget this). These sites are nice but the uploading speed is too slow. And its not very user friendly. Rapidshare really sucks for its time limit ( but there are so many tricks to hack this site ).

Well the 10 hours which i wasted to search was not a waste. I found a website called MyBloop. This site helps you in uploading your data onto their server. And that too its unlimited. I tested on this site. The uploading speed was better than rapidshare. The only problem is you need to download their MyBloop application called blooploader for uploading any type of data. The next day it happened to my OS by a virus which just damage intreb.dll & when ever i start my OS the error was coming. I got fully annoyed.
